Bobby R. Lewis

Principal

Bobby Lewis serves as Principal of Access Title Company and Access Search & Title Company, LLC, providing strategic oversight and leadership guidance while remaining independent of the companies’ daily operations. A longtime resident of the Triangle region, Bobby brings over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, development, and urban revitalization.

In 1988, Bobby founded Raleigh Commercial Realty & Development, a firm dedicated to advancing both new projects and the redevelopment of underutilized urban properties throughout the Downtown Raleigh area. His extensive career has given him a comprehensive understanding of the Triangle’s commercial real estate market and a lasting commitment to the region’s growth and progress.

In 2003, Bobby partnered with Don Carter to form Raleigh Development Company, acquiring and redeveloping the Capital Bank Plaza building on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh, where RDC continues to maintain its offices.

Bobby’s contributions extend well beyond real estate. He has held leadership and advisory roles across numerous civic and community organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, Wake County Planning Board, The State Club Board, Paragon Bank Advisory Board, and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce—where he has been an active member for over 20 years, contributing to the Economic Development Committee and the Chamber Sports Council. Through these efforts, Bobby has helped recruit major sporting events and foster economic vitality across the Triangle region.

A recipient of the Sir Walter Raleigh Award, Bobby was recognized for his redevelopment work in the Five Points/Fairview Road area, transforming it into a thriving destination of upscale shops and restaurants. His longstanding involvement in local, state, and national politics includes participation in two U.S. Senate and two Presidential campaigns, as well as multiple state, county, and city initiatives.

Bobby’s vision, leadership, and deep community roots continue to shape the Triangle’s growth and inspire the next generation of real estate and development professionals.

Miki Powell

President

A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Miki Powell leads Access Title Company and Access Search & Title Company, LLC with more than two decades of proven excellence in real estate, title operations, and national vendor management. Her diverse professional background spanning healthcare, military service, and corporate leadership—has shaped her into a disciplined, compassionate, and results-driven executive.

Originally from New York, Miki’s early years were filled with creativity and performance, dancing in theatre productions and parades throughout the city. Those experiences instilled in her confidence, stage presence, and an appreciation for collaboration and precision traits that would later define her leadership style.

Before entering the title industry, Miki served proudly in the U.S. Army, where she developed a deep respect for teamwork, structure, and mission-focused execution. Following her service, she worked in several Level I trauma hospitals as a Radiologic Technologist, gaining firsthand experience in high-pressure environments that demanded accuracy, empathy, and resilience. These experiences continue to influence her approach to managing complex operations and leading diverse teams.

After relocating from Tampa, Florida, Miki now calls North Carolina home, overseeing corporate operations that serve clients across multiple states. Deeply rooted in Moore, Wake, and Cleveland Counties, she is dedicated to growth, education, and community advancement.

Beyond her executive role, Miki is a devoted mother to an adult son and teenage daughter, and a proud rescue-dog mom to Lola and Nessie. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, reading, exploring diverse music, and creating intricate stained-glass art. Her lifelong love for real estate from property development and design to title and settlement continues to fuel her passion for helping clients and partners succeed.

Stanley Lamoy

Executive Vice President

With over two decades of experience in the real estate and title insurance industry, Stanley Lamoy serves as Executive Vice President of Access Title Company and Access Search & Title Company, LLC. His extensive expertise spans search, title, escrow, and loss mitigation, making him a cornerstone of the Access leadership team.

Stanley has played an integral role in building and managing nationwide search operations, having developed a high-performing search division for a midsized title company that served clients across multiple states. His background includes successful partnerships with private firms, real estate attorneys, and Fortune 500 organizations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Stanley’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish and operate a thriving independent search business, further solidifying his reputation for innovation and operational excellence.

As Executive Vice President, Stanley oversees strategic operations, vendor relations, and process development across both Access Title Company and Access Search & Title Company, LLC. His leadership ensures the consistent delivery of precision, efficiency, and exceptional client service—hallmarks of the Access brand.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Stanley is a devoted husband and father of two. He enjoys cycling, coaching baseball, traveling with his family, and relaxing with a great glass of wine. His leadership philosophy reflects integrity, teamwork, and a steadfast commitment to excellence—values that continue to inspire and strengthen the Access organization.

Ryan Mclaughlin

Lead Underwriter

Meet Ryan McLaughlin, our talented Lead Underwriter, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the title insurance industry to the Access team.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Ryan has called Charlotte home for over two decades. A proud graduate of Queens University of Charlotte, he earned his degree in Business while competing as a four-year starter on the university’s golf team.

Ryan is known for his strategic insight, strong leadership, and ability to build and mentor high-performing teams. His deep industry knowledge and dedication to operational excellence make him an invaluable part of our organization.

When he’s not overseeing underwriting operations, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Erin, their two sons Avett and Waylon, and their dog Ripken at their home in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Magen Colgan

Say hello to Magen, our dynamic Marketing Representative and Social Media Manager at Access Title Company. A proud Raleigh native and NC State University alum, Magen is passionate about building authentic connections and supporting the real estate professionals who help our communities grow.

Although new to the title industry, Magen brings fresh perspective, energy, and a strong commitment to cultivating trust and meaningful relationships. Her focus is on creating impactful marketing strategies that strengthen partnerships and elevate the Access brand across every platform.

Outside of work, you’ll find Magen traveling, reading, cheering on the WNBA, or staying active through CrossFit and local sports leagues. She’s enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of Raleigh’s professional community — and we’re thrilled to have her on the Access team.

Jane Kirk

Jane Kirk brings a fresh perspective and a deep North Carolina spirit to her work at Access Title insurance. Though relatively new to the title insurance industry, Jane’s strong sense of place and genuine curiosity have long defined her professional journey. Having lived from the foothills to the sandhills to the Crystal Coast and spending more than 20 years in Greenville, she’s proud to call eastern North Carolina home. This region isn’t just her market; it’s her community.

With a background as an author and a freelance writer, crafts that require an eye for detail, a talent for finding the best in people and places, as well as an ability to listen closely. She approaches transactions with care and professionalism, ensuring that clients and partners alike feel valued and supported from the first conversation to every closing.

She’s passionate about growing alongside the Access Search and Title team and helping strengthen the company’s relationships throughout eastern North Carolina.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys writing, spending time outdoors, and doting on her long-haired dachshund, Sir Dexter Pickles, who, when he’s not stealing the spotlight, serves as unofficial regional mascot, while supervising all work from the comfort of his favorite blanket.

Zach and Sara Thomas

Sales Representative

Zach and Sara Thomas moved to the Wilmington, NC area in 2023. Zach Thomas spent most of his life in the Charlotte/Mint Hill area, working as a nationally registered Paramedic, before getting back into Real Estate after meeting his future wife, Sara. Sara Thomas, from the mountains of North Carolina, moved to the Charlotte/Gastonia area in 2018, where she met Zach. Sara has an extensive background in Real Estate as a Paralegal, working for several law firms. The two enjoy the beach, playing with their 2 dogs, and playing video games.
