Bobby R. Lewis

Principal

Bobby Lewis a longtime resident of the Triangle region with 30 years experience in commercial real estate and development. Bobby founded Raleigh Commercial Realty & Development in 1988, a firm dedicated to developing both new projects and underutilized urban

properties mostly in and around the Downtown area. Bobby’s years of experience has given him a broad understanding of the Triangle’s commercial real estate market and instilled in him a deep commitment to Raleigh’s growth. In 2003, he teamed up with Don Carter

to form Raleigh Development Company acquiring the Capital Bank Plaza building on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh where RDC maintains their offices. Some of Bobby’s involvement in local government and community affairs over the years include Boy Scouts

of America, the Wake County Planning board, The State Club board member, Charter member of the Lonnie Poole golf course (sponsoring hole number 8), Paragon Bank advisory board member, 20 year active member of the Chamber of commerce and the Chamber Sports

Council. While serving on these boards, a few of his contributions include, working with the economic development committee and recruiting major sports to the Triangle area.

Bobby received the Sir Walter Raleigh Award for his redevelopment of the 5 Points/Fairview Road area in Raleigh to up-scale shops and restaurants.

Bobby’s involvement in local, state and national politics includes two U.S Senate and two Presidential campaigns, as well as several state, county and city campaigns.

Miki Powell

Director of Operations

Meet Miki Powell, our Director of Operations. A proud US Army Veteran, Miki brings over a decade of experience in real estate, with expertise in compliance, operations, marketing, and multistate title insurance. Having recently relocated from sunny Tampa, FL, Miki now calls North Carolina home, where our corporate office is located. She shares her homelife with her adult son, teenage daughter, and two rescue dogs, Lola and Nessie in Moore county. She also has deep family ties too Moore County, Wake County and Cleveland County here in North Carolina. Miki is passionate about education and actively volunteers in her community. In her downtime, she enjoys a diverse range of music, indulges in reading, travels as often as she can, and practices her stained-glass craft. Miki’s dedication, diverse background and varied interests make her invaluable to our team!

Ryan Mclaughlin

Lead Underwriter

Ryan is originally from Baltimore, Maryland but has lived in the Charlotte area for the past 23 years. Ryan attended Queens College (now Queens University of Charlotte) where he majored in Business and was a 4-year starter on the golf team. Ryan has over 20 years’ experience in the Title Industry and has excelled in building and growing teams. Ryan currently lives with his wife, Erin, two boys, Avett and Waylon, and dog, Ripken in Huntersville, NC.

Stanley Lamoy

Sales Representative

With over two decades of industry experience, Stanley has a strong background in search, title, escrow, and loss mitigation. He was instrumental in developing a nationwide search team for a midsized title company and has worked with private firms, attorneys, and Fortune 500 organizations. During COVID, Stanley utilized his expertise to successfully establish a search business. Beyond his professional achievements, Stanley is a devoted family man, married with two children. He enjoys cycling, coaching baseball, traveling with his family, and relaxing with a great glass of wine.

Zach and Sara Thomas

Sales Representative

Zach and Sara Thomas moved to the Wilmington, NC area in 2023. Zach Thomas spent most of his life in the Charlotte/Mint Hill area, working as a nationally registered Paramedic, before getting back into Real Estate after meeting his future wife, Sara. Sara Thomas, from the mountains of North Carolina, moved to the Charlotte/Gastonia area in 2018, where she met Zach. Sara has an extensive background in Real Estate as a Paralegal, working for several law firms. The two enjoy the beach, playing with their 2 dogs, and playing video games.
